  1. OUTFITS ִֶָ۶ৎ˖ִ ˚

With a limited budget, I opted for a cheaper market for clothing instead of branded stores: Shopee. Based on the established character design, for the first outfit (sleepwear), I ordered a white cotton top, separated from a pyjama set. I purposely decided not to order the entire set itself because I wanted the colour for the shorts to be a different shade to add variety to the shot. However, before I paid for a blue pair of bottoms, the main actress (Phuong Anh/Tina) reached out and notified me that she already had the exact piece - this saved me a certain amount:)

Fun fact: Tina actually told me how difficult it was to channel a more intense, negative emotion in this fit(which was required for the escalation of the song) because it felt too “adorable.

The final outfit #1.

Along with this were white socks that went over the main actress’s ankle a tiny bit. I thought this was the “cherry on the top” for the attire, as it completes the “comfy yet cute” visual.

For the second outfit, the vibe completely changes. In contrast to the softness of the initial look, this one has more tone and depth, making Tina stand out from the two extras. The red top with an open neckline and caro patterns draws attention immediately, further facilitated by her position in the middle of the frame. I paired the strap shirt with tight, dark denim jeans. This outfit shows off a more sophisticated yet fashionable side of Lyn - the artist - through the play of brighter colors and other clothing materials.

The red top initially gave me the impression of a “town girl” aesthetic, which obviously did not fit the overall theme I had planned. However, after some more consideration, I decided it could work if combined with something more street-looking.

That is where these come in. Despite how it may look baggy here, during the fitting session, we actually realized that the jeans were a little tighter on Tina, yet the look still turned out well in my opinion.

Final look #2.

  1. MAKEUP & HAIR ꩜ .ᐟ

It would be reasonable to expect a slight change in makeup between the two looks, as their difference in aesthetic is quite drastic. However, during production, I decided to keep the look the same because I believed there was no significant emotional contrast; therefore, we kept the makeup look from before to save time. This is the makeup bag that I used for Tina’s makeup:)
